Please bring a physical credit card (Apple Pay is not accepted) and your driver's licence. If your licence is not in English, you'll need an official English translation or an International Driving Permit. Only the primary driver needs to be present at collection.

For your safety, all drivers should familiarise themselves with the Australian road rules. Cairns also has a few unique driving conditions:

Long-Distance Driving: Western Australia is vast, and destinations can be much further apart than expected. Plan your journey carefully, carry plenty of water, and ensure you have enough fuel before leaving major towns.

Strong Coastal Winds: Coastal routes, especially around Fremantle, Lancelin, and the Coral Coast, can experience strong crosswinds. Take extra care when driving a motorhome and reduce your speed if needed.

Remote Areas: If you’re travelling beyond Perth into regional Western Australia, mobile phone coverage and services can be limited. Download maps in advance and let someone know your travel plans before heading into remote areas.

Wildlife: Kangaroos and other native wildlife are most active at dawn and dusk, particularly on regional roads. Avoid driving at these times where possible and stay alert.

Yes. We offer one-way rentals to and from Perth for an additional fee of $165.

Yes, you can explore parts of Western Australia’s outback from Perth, however, careful planning is essential. Many remote areas have limited fuel stations, mobile phone reception can be unreliable, and distances between towns are much greater than expected. Please note that Cruisin’ motorhomes are not permitted on unsealed roads, so always plan your route using sealed roads only.

It takes about 45 hours to drive from Perth to Brisbane. You can easily transform this into a great 21+ days road trip.

Your motorhome won’t fit in undercover carparks! You’ll need to find outdoor or open carparks without height restriction. Parking a motorhome in Perth is best handled by using designated caravan parks.

Western Australia is an incredible destination year-round, with each season offering unique landscapes and unforgettable experiences. Here are some of our favourite places to visit:
