Since the bookings are pre-arranged with limited flexibility, we're offering a heavily discounted rate to thank you for your understanding. This $1 a day opportunity is a mutual benefit for us and the budget-conscious traveller who wants to fit in some sightseeing on the way.

Can I Change The Dates Of The Relocation?
No. Pick up dates are fixed and cannot be changed.
Can I Extend My Relocation?
You can hire a Cruisin' Motorhome for $1 a day for 6 days with the option of renting for an additional four days. If the vehicle you're relocating is availiable for longer, you may extend at the time of booking, however you will be required to pay the standard daily rental rate of the vehicle for those extra days.
Each extra day includes 300 kilometres, and you'll be charged $0.28 for every additional kilometre driven.
Can I Book My Own Spirit Of Tasmania Ticket?
No. We will organise tickets for yourself and the motorhome. The only ticket you will be responsible for is your passenger's.
Can I Add Additional Drivers?
The standard $1 a day booking includes one driver, but each additional driver is charged $5 per day. You can add up to 3 drivers on your rental agreement depending on the size of the vehicle.

How Do I Book A Motorhome Relocation In Australia?

What's Included?
If you're travelling from Hobart to the mainland (or vice-versa), Cruisin' will pay for your Ocean Recliner Seat and the vehicle's boarding ticket – however, if you're travelling with a companion you'll need to purchase an extra ticket.
If you already know someone's coming with you, tell us at the time of your booking and we can help you organise any extra Spirit Tickets.
We'll also provide all your basic motorhome needs such as linen, including sheets, doonas, pillows, and towels. You can even hire some extra accessories to really elevate your trip!
There is also a kitchen on board with all cutlery and crockery provided. The size of your kitchen will vary depending on which motorhome relocation you've booked, but they each offer their own comfort! You can dine in your motorhome, or you can hire an outdoor table and chair setting for just $35 and enjoy a meal alfresco under the stars.
Where Can I Relocate A Motorhome?
You can travel to/from any of our branch locations depending on our relocation needs. This is a great opportunity for travellers to travel to major cities across Australia such as Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, and Perth.

How Flexible Is My Spirit of Tasmania Booking?
In short: It's not flexible. While your pick-up and drop-off dates are negotiable, we expect you to be on the Spirit of Tasmania with the motorhome on the date specified.
Space on the boat is limited for motorhomes, so rebooking is difficult. We appreciate your understanding of this.
What Are My Insurance Options?
With a relocation, you'll be required to pay a Standard Liability security bond of $1000 by card (including any surcharges). If the vehicle is returned with no damages or issues, your bond will be refunded to your card within 14 working days.
What Are My Costs?
Aside from any additional tickets for the Spirit of Tasmania, you will also need to pay for fuel. We'll fill up the vehicle with a full tank of fuel before you start your trip, which you will then refill as needed throughout the trip. Don't forget to fill up the tank before you return.
Some other things to budget for include campgrounds, attractions, and food. But with some time and research, you'll be able to save big and enjoy a budget-friendly motorhome holiday.
